Los Alamos Team 4-H is:

Fun:

Choose from over 100 projects and activities such as: gardening, horses, arts and crafts, cooking, sheep, rabbits, goats, dairy, beef, and many, many more!

Education:

Record keeping - Learn how to be organized and maintain important information. Field Trips - Last year we visited an Alpaca Farm and an Equestrian Facility. Culture - Last year we learned how to make salsa and New Mexico Hot Chocolate from goat's milk. Animal Care - Last year we learned about the care and feeding of sheep, goats, cows, horses and chickens.

Community Service:

4Hers make a positive difference in their communities and will do projects that help Los Alamos County. Last year, we helped with the Los Alamos County Hay Rides, the Los Alamos Stables Luminary Event, and we planted over 50 ponderosa pines on Earth Day at the Los Alamos Stables.

Parents:

Our club is only as successful as the effort the kids and parents put into it. We run on a volunteer basis and need all the support we can get.
